Went there to get a waffle after an upsetting day. The aunty running the store was so rude, ignoring me even after I followed her from the waffle stand to the cashier to have my order taken. While waiting for her at the cashier, another customer came in that she seemed to be familiar with. The lady was not even standing at the cashier wanting her order to be taken, she was still deciding, and yet the aunty purposely took the lady's order first instead of taking mine. She clearly saw me waiting in front of the cashier for a while already.

When she finally asked me for my order, I asked her a simple question of whether they apply butter on their plain waffles. Instead of replying a simple 'yes' or 'no', she replied to me in Chinese, something along the lines of "since when we got put butter on our plain waffles? who say one?" this really pissed me off because I was already having a bad day, and the answer required a simple 'yes' or 'no' answer. She also replied in a mocking manner, as if to make fun of my "stupid question" with the other lady customer. I replied "I also don't know" and just said I want a cheese waffle.

Right after saying I wanted the cheese waffle, she keyed something into the system then said "you want plain waffle ah?", and I stated again that I wanted cheese waffle. I scanned the PayNow QR on the counter and it said not valid. I asked her if they accepted PayNow to double check and she just pointed at the QR code that I already tried scanning. I showed her the error screen, then she came out behind the cash register to stand at the corner of the counter to key into the terminal for a new PayNow QR code for me to scan. While I was scanning the QR code to pay, she could not help but ask me in an impatient manner, "you all don't have cash ah?". This made me even more annoyed because there was no reason for you to be making these comments in front of your customers, to your customers. There is no reason that paying by PayNow is a bad thing and if you guys accept it then why is she making a big fuss out of it? I really don't understand her attitude and entitlement when she is the one providing goods and a service to her customers.

Once I paid, I walked over to the waffle counter and almost immediately my waffle was ready. She just held out the bag and didn't say a word. The waffle being prepared so quickly means that it is not fresh and to be honest it was not nice. Super thin and the cheese slice was the smallest I have ever seen. Such a waste of my money. Usually I wouldn't mind waiting for a fresh waffle to be made but I am glad this one was done quickly because at that point I didn't want to be around this aunty for any longer and had no appetite to eat the waffle.

Super rude and entitled aunty that doesn't want to do her job properly. If don't want work then go retire okay, don't need to take out your elderly frustrations on your customers. Waffle also not nice.

Wanted to get waffles and was walking around to find the staff. The aunty don’t even bother to stand up to acknowledge me as she kept quiet one side hiding behind the high counter, after a good 5 min she wave from the back of the high counter asking what I want, when I told her I wanted waffles then she says that she is eating her food. Errr ok so do I have to wait or how ? Like are you open for business or close for breaks?
Then, she just ignore me and continue eating.
What the hell, if you got no enough staffing then at least get 2 to cover each other.
Want to do business or don’t want now ??
I think they should do something with their incompetence staff this aunty.

bought the waffle from the past few times from the same old auntie. Always super rude for i don’t know what reason. Will scold you if you try to use paylah! instead of cash.
