Based of some of this restaurant's previous less-than-fair reviews, I had to give it the benefit of the doubt. Breakfast buffet was truly splendid and offered a multitude of cuisines, with a handful of less popular choices still made excellently regardless. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Also tried the dinner buffet which had a promotion as well as special cuisines served. Again, the food was fantastic and the staff/service was excellent. ?? Overall, as a hotel guest the dining experience here was more-than-satisfactory and left little-to-no room for disappointment.

A nice international breakfast buffet serves with bottomless sparkling wine. Is there any better way to think to start your day in Langkawi with unlimited bubbly booze? I highly doubt that. The breakfast is mix of local and international delicacies. You can find nasi lemak, roti canai, porridges that represent malaysia food here. The international option are the standard western food, cold plates like a variety of hams and cheese, and a variety of delicious bakeries. The salads and tropical fruits are fresh and juicy. The vintage british dining hall and the super scenic seaside view made it a unforgetable breakfast experience. Not to forget the beautiful garden with variety of beautiful plants and nice water ponds where you can spot a lot of beautiful koi fish. Have a walk around these spots when you are a little stuffy with food. It is truly a unforgetable breakfast experience in Langkawi.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Planter's at The Danna Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight of our stay. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, offering a wonderful selection of both local and international dishes. From fresh fruits and pastries to made-to-order omelets and traditional Malaysian cuisine, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We also had the opportunity to try the dinner buffet on Saturday, and it did not disappoint. The array of dishes was impressive, and each item we tried was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of our meal, providing a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. A special shoutout goes to Chef Dato' Pari, who made our dining experience even more memorable by personally checking in with us to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. His attentiveness and dedication to his craft were evident and greatly appreciated. Overall, Planter's at The Danna Restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a wonderful setting. We will definitely be back!

The Planter's restaurant at The Danna Hotel offers a fantastic dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxing. The Radaman buffet was amazing, with a great variety of delicious dishes. The service was top-notch, and the staff made us feel very welcome. A truly five-star experience!

Excellent breakfast buffet and fantastic service. I loved the mix of local Malaysian flavors and international ones. Do not miss the Malaysian kuehs, and also the hot counters of dosa, roti canai, nasi lemak, stirfry, and fresh curries. Special mention to Wahyu at the fresh juice and kopi/teh counter. He makes an amazing customized Milo Monster Milotini.....a special Malaysian take on the Vodka Martini. Great boozy fun for breakfast. Kudos!
