Ibbankatuwa, Dambulla, Sri Lanka
Very tasty home cooked food. Clay pots adding more flavour to the dishes. Would recommend to anyone traveling towards the North. Worth the visit. Value for money.
Tasty home cooked Sri Lankan food on the way to Sigiriya. Some dishes can be quite spicy so just make sure you don’t take too much at first. You can refill the one that you like. The rice is really good, fluffy and looks like calrose rice. The local coffee is pretty good too. The only downside is too much flies while we’re eating so that can be very annoying.
This restaurant has a Sri Lankan village vibe, simple, authentic, and tasty. Good value for money, 450 for a fish rice and curry with unlimited vegi refills. The owners were also really sweet. 100% recommend a stop!
Food: There is a rice and curry buffet which is wonderful. The chicken curry is spicy but not too much and the chicken is really soft and tasty. Service: good they have everything u need Location: small but cute and clean
Went for lunch buffet with 6 pax. Plenty of seating and parking. (Can host like 16-20pax at a time i think) Chicken and fried fish meal is Rs 500/- Curry fish meal is bit cheaper. Maybe rs 470/-* can also.go.veg. Note: for the meal you only get 1 piece of meat item (included for the price tag of ars 500.) If you get multiple pieces or multiple options for same plate (ex: chicken and fish or 2 chicken pieces) there will be an extra cost which is still very cheap. So if you visit, i highly reccomend you try both chicken and fried fish (වැව් මාලු) as they are very tasty and affordable here. Highly reccmended resturent. Truely sri lankan food.
