When my family and I visited, after the first few bites we immediately said that Old Monk is the best modern Indian food we’ve ever had in Brisbane! Every dish was beautifully presented, was absolutely delicious, the staff were so friendly and kind! The aesthetic and vibe is also so unique and high-end. WE LOVED IT! And we will definitely be back because we wanted to try so many dishes!

Absolutely stunning venue and the service was top notch! We were amazed by the variety of options available. This accompanied by the presentation and bursting flavours of each dish, made this restaurant truely a memorable spot! They also cater for dietary needs, as a vegetarian I was spoilt for choice! Highly recommend and will be returning again and again ??

Located in the ambient Rosalie Village, Old Monk gives a new take on Indian cuisine. Its extensive menu covers modern versions of regional dishes as well as several fusion dishes. What we ate was aromatic rather than hot, an adventure in flavour, delightfully spiced. It's no surprise that in the year it was established, Old Monk won the Restaurant & Caterer's Association award for Best Indian Restaurant in Queensland. A top meal.

So much amazing items to try from their menu. Fell in love with their fascinating spices from the first smell to the first bite. They have some exquisite drinks & the way each dish is presented is just so beautiful!

I loved this modern Indian restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I feel like I have been transported to India. The food was very tasty and authentic and had good generous portions. The service was outstanding and food was brought to our table in a reasonable timeframe. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to my next visit.
