3 Wing Fung St, Wan Chai, Hong Kong
Super cozy, spacious, healthy place. Not cheap. Salads are great, impossible burgers are a bit dry, fresh smoothies perfect, bottled juices decent. Coffee not great, best to opt for a turmeric latte. 200Mbit WiFi, lots of power sockets, usually not crowded, pleasant to work or meet. Plushy interior softens the din.
This is a very chilled spot with nice decor. I went around 6pm during the week. The salads were still being served but I guess they were the last prepped batch of the day. There an area to sit where you take off your shoes and sit against low tables. Very nice.
I thoroughly appreciate the variety of meal options available at this establishment and find it to be an excellent combination of quality and taste for the price. However, I must express my recent disappointment regarding the inconsistency in portion sizes. On certain occasions, the containers were filled to the brim, providing a satisfying amount of food, while on other occasions, it appeared as though the staff members were carelessly scooping the ingredients without paying attention to the quantity. This inconsistency in portion sizes has been a letdown. Furthermore, during one visit, both another customer and I witnessed a dispute between two younger employees. Observing such unprofessional behavior was disheartening and detracted from the overall dining experience. For reference of the recent portion sizes, I have included photos of two separate instances where I ordered salads.
The food and drink here are both excellent. The variety of seating options, including couches, chairs, stools, and tatami, is amazing. However, there’s an issue with non-customers abusing the space. During lunch hours (and even off-peak times), seats are consistently occupied, with 1/3 to 1/4 taken by people who bring in outside food and drinks (like those from Pret or Seven-Eleven). After my yoga session here, I purchased my lunch but struggled to find a vacant seat. Even when I finally sat down after a 10-minute wait, I overheard a girl next to me enjoying her Seven-Eleven bento and drink, praising the air conditioning. I spent half an hour there to finish my meal, but non-consumers were still occupying seats (some for at least 40 minutes). It’s puzzling how they ignore the “friendly reminder” stickers on the tables, which explicitly warn against bringing in outside food. This place is primarily a lounge for members and Nood customers, not open to the general public (including non-customers who take seats meant for Nood diners). Just buy something and be civilized if you want to use the space, please.
Nice cafe with healthy and not too overpriced options this side of town. Maybe pure should just focus on nood cafe, since the gym business doesn’t seem doing so well
