Had dinner on 14May2024 around 7pm. This was a Tuesday so the restaurant was not busy at all, although on Fridays and on the weekends they tend to be busy. I recommend coming on weekdays that they are quiet. Food was really good. Price is per normal now a days, although there are other Thai restaurants that have cheaper prices. The cocktail that I had was nice too. The service was really good, the owner and waitress were friendly & did check on us. The atmosphere was lovely & cozy. I will come back to this place again. This place can be good for bigger groups and sharing food as well.

We always passed by this restaurant everytime we go to newmarket central and notice usually filled with customers and we would one day come by. This time we came for mother’s day dinner as walkin and we almost didnt get the seating due to late notice. They dont disappoint to its authenticity and freshness. Highly recommended dishes!

Absolutely delicious! Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had in New Zealand. Every dish was full of authentic flavors, perfectly balanced, and made with fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends. If you’re craving real Thai food, this place is a must-visit!

Perfectly cooked every time – crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, and always served with a delicious sauce that ties it all together. The food is consistently amazing, full of authentic Thai flavors, and the service is always warm and welcoming. You can really feel the care they put into everything – from the kitchen to the customer service. If you’re ever on Broadway and craving Thai, Nickies is a must-visit. This place was very good! The food tasted amazing and the dessert was even better! Highly recommend trying the fried ice cream. The atmosphere was nice and cozy and I loved their decorations. The food took a while to arrive but it was worth the wait. They played good music in the background and I would definitely come here again! And bonus it was all halal :D
