It is the comfort food as it is tasty, and the sambal is extremely spicy. Advice is it will be better not eat at restaurant during peak season, as you will not find the peace.

We ordered via grab food. So we didn't know that the grilled chicken is coated with the spicy sambal. So beware. Those who can't spicy, best to stick with fried chicken set. It came with rice, tofu, tempe & different kinds of vegetables (ulam, cucumber & aubergine) and a small tub of sambal. It was good, just too spicy. The service was fast but we had to wait for the grab driver to accept delivery. The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate when we called the restaurant directly.

I came here for dinner, and it was quite packed. Luckily, we were first on the waiting list and got a table after about 10 minutes. Ordering is simple, they give you a piece of paper with the menu items, and you just tick off what you want. Due to the large number of takeaway orders, we had to wait another 30 minutes for our food. But with so many locals dining in and the long queues, it felt like a good sign that the food would be worth it. We ordered the fried fish and fried chicken meals, and the highlight was definitely their sambal, the best I’ve had so far. It pairs perfectly with fried food and even just rice. It’s quite spicy, so keep that in mind if you don’t handle spice well. The prices are reasonable, and overall, it’s worth trying. I’d definitely go again.

I had the Ayam Bakar and it was delicious. Bear in mind that the Nasi Tempong sambal is really spicy. They will have separated the sambal upon serving so try just a little bit of it first and decide for yourself. Squeezing the lime juice into the sambal elevates the whole experience. I would highly recommend eating here. The portion is also quite big for one person so you’d definitely leave feeling satisfied and full
