A bit disappointed cause their lamb and squid sold out pretty early. Will come back earlier, maybe lunch... Were here for early dinner at 6. 1st bite and i knew i will be back. The spices combo was so nice (star anise being the star of the mix), combined with the sambal, acar and fried mixed nut. Despite the heavy rain, we discussed the food religiously, shouting to each other the enthusiasm.

Old Village ambience with chickens roaming freely. Menu is simple but tastes good. There is the adjoining modern eating area for those who prefer a cleaner environment. Met the owner before and after our meal and he was very courteous as he greeted us and thanked us for our patronage respectively

Not knowing where to eat—since I came all the way from Lombok—I stumbled upon Nasi Tekor, right on the side of the street. First impression: good vibes! The place isn’t too big, but it still feels like it can comfortably fit a lot of people. My husband ordered Nasi Ayam Betutu, and I had Nasi Ayam Sere Lemo. Honestly, it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. What I love about the dish I ordered is how many flavors and textures it offers—it feels like they really want you to taste everything, and it’s all put together so beautifully. I loved everything about the food here. Plus, it was easy to find! I definitely recommend Nasi Tekor to anyone traveling to Bali.

This place is a delightful dive into nostalgia. Authentic flavors, cozy indoor seating, and a breezy outdoor terrace that makes it perfect for groups or solo vibes. I tried the shredded chicken, it was solid. Plenty of flavor and totally worth finishing (7.5/10 from me). The drinks lineup: es tape, es teh sereh, and es cincau was solid as well. Prices are wallet-friendly, and the “Past Dishes. Present Taste. Future Cuisine” concept shines through. My only hiccup: the staff took a while to acknowledge our arrival and bring menus, so I had to grab one myself from the cashier. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it did dampen the welcome vibe a bit.

One of the great place if you are searching for a local food. First i come here, there's only a few customer and the waiter ask us to order in their backyard (more like a kitchen) but there's many chicken (little bit smelly) there and also the walking path is not easy to walk for a restaurant standard. I order the nasi tekor ayam and some sate lilit. Turns out the food was really good. I can enjoy all of them. The frontyard is clean and some old house vibes makes it so special. Really enjoy the experience there Really recommended if you want to try some of the affordable local food ?
