I ordered the garlic roti with kofta curry and my mum ordered vegetarian meal. I was impressed by their quick service especially since it was during the peak hour. First bite into the kofta and it literally melts in your mouth! As for the vegetarian meal, the payasam was perfect and not too sweet. Rasam and kuzhambu tasted super homely ? Tried their vethalai kulfi and it unlocked a new flavour of innovation especially for those vethalai lovers! To top them all, I really loved the wet towel which was more through in wiping my hands after eating as compared to normal wet tissues. Overall highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants an authentic healthier Indian meal in the city area with many varieties!
Visited this Indian vegetarian restaurant, Nalan located near Cityhall MRT a couple of times. I really like the Pani Poori, Palak Paneer with Garlic Naan. 2nd visit, I also shared a South Indian Meal ~lunch special with a friend. It’s truly sumptuous & we had an enjoyable meal, as we both are a fan of Indian cuisines. It’s a clean, quiet and comfortable dining experience. Food portion, especially set lunch is big (suitable for 2 pax), as we can’t finished. Total bill: approx sgd60 after the Citibank 10% discount.
Nalan is the highlight of. Y Singapore trip. The customer service was amazing. We had podi idly, masala ghee dosai, coin parota as per recommendation from Chandrasekar. It was yummy. My dad and I love every bit of it. Syed was amazing. Overall amazing experience and tasty food.
We had a nice meal at Nalan, a vegetarian Indian restaurant that really impressed us. The food was flavorful but not overly spicy—great for those who enjoy balanced, aromatic dishes. The chapati and roomali roti were large and fresh—one piece is more than enough per person. The basmati rice is on the pricier side, but totally worth it: fluffy, fragrant, and with impressively long grains. Our favorites were the aloo gobi and the dal tadka—both were comforting, well-seasoned, and absolutely satisfying. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Food did take a little while to arrive, but it was clearly made fresh and worth the wait. A great spot for anyone looking for quality vegetarian Indian food in a clean, relaxed setting. We’ll definitely return!
Full vegetarian restaurant. Great ambience and great staff. Love the great service from Shasi and Akansha. Thank you for making the dinner wonderful. If you come by, try Ragi thosai and Coriander Rasam. The rasam is simply awesome❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Would love rawa thosai to be more crispy?Anyway, I highly recommend this place??
