Always the go-to for nasi padang, especially my preferred combination of Rendang Beef, Fried Tempeh and Sambal Goreng. Usually costs around $7 to $8, depending on the price of beef that day. The fried tempeh here is a must-try, since it is not found elsewhere, with the sweet seasoning and crunchy texture. The beef rendang is flavorful, tender texture, but can be quite oily. The sambal goreng is decent. Overall, a good place for local nasi padang.

Update: Revisit them again recently (Oct 2024) Ordered 1) Mee rebus SGD 3.50 2) Two plate of Nasi Padang a) Fried egg, chicken wing, sambal goreng, slice potato/wedges SGD 6 B) Omelette, chicken wing, curry vegetable and mutton curry SGD 10 Note: Mutton is soft and easy to tear apart with folks and spoons ?? Highly recommend their fried chicken and begedil! Begedil is served hot and soft. Very tasty! However, the lady at the cashier wasn’t friendly at all.

I ordered on grab food cos I was craving for sambal goreng. click on it and i saw sambal goreng pengantin. i gave them the benefit of doubt. Food came in boxes. Smelled good. the moment i put it in my mouth, I was amazed at how delicious it was. Portioning was generous too. A week later I ordered again same.taste!! VERY CONSISTENT. So now I know where to look for when I have sambal goreng pengantin fix. I bought the kuih². it was also delicious. yummy. U guys have a new follower. so sedapppppppppp 5 star. 2 thumbs up I'll keep coming back.
