We had a lovely time at Massimo, no faults at all. Presentation of food was amazing, food was fresh and tasty and the waiter was exceptional. Filippo who was “in training”, doesn’t really need much at all, he was very knowledgeable and off he didn’t now he would promptly find the answer. Made conversation and ensured we were enjoying our meal at all times. We ordered the Pronto Banquet so he had a lot of plates to deliver and collect. We don’t usually tip, but we did tip Filippo - All the best with the rest of your stay in Australia & Thank you for an unforgettable experience :)

Massimo Restaurant & Bar sits right by the Brisbane river, and the view alone is worth the visit—peaceful, open, and just the right kind of elegant. The vibe is calm and polished without feeling stuffy, and the service hit all the right notes: quick, professional, and genuinely friendly. We started with the whipped ricotta dip, which was creamy, flavorful, and surprisingly generous. My wife had the sand crab trenette—light, fresh, and delicious. I went for the veal cutlet, which was nicely done, though the tomato sauce didn’t quite live up to the rest. All in all, a solid and satisfying first night in Brisbane.

Had a wonderful dinner at Massimo! Food was good, service was good and it felt very easy. It was a birthday celebration and they made it an effortless process whereas some restaurants can make it difficult to do celebrations. They go out of their way to make you feel special. Food portions were generous and felt like good value for money. The restaurant was right next to ferry terminal which we thought might be an issue, but after 6pm it’s pretty quiet and restaurant has a nice ambience when full - if your wanting a high view of the bridge it might not be ideal. Risotto and eye fillet were very tasty.

We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner in Massimo. The food we ordered was all beautiful and the hospitality ( thank you Cece!) was beyond amazing too! They celebrated us with a dessert plate and message card too so our hearts were so full ??? Thank you for looking after us Cece and we’d definitely come back:)

My friends and I chose this place on the spur of the moment, without reservation. After waiting for 10 minutes, we were lucky to get a table. We chose crab spaghetti , seafood pasta, and lasagna. As for drinks, mamamia did not quite meet my expectations.
