We dined at Manee Thai Restaurant in Auckland and ordered Tempura Prawns and Chicken Satay for entrées, followed by Beef Stir Fry, Pad Thai Chicken Noodles, and Red Thai Duck Curry for mains. All the dishes were brought out at the same time, and since the table was quite small, there wasn’t enough space to fit everything comfortably. It felt a bit cramped, and we were uncomfortable trying to juggle all the plates at once. The Tempura Prawns were tasty with generous portions. The Chicken Satay, however, was too sweet for our taste. As for the Red Thai Duck Curry, the inclusion of grapes and pineapple didn’t really work — it threw off the flavor of the dish. The ambience was pleasant and helped balance out the experience, but overall, it would’ve been better if the food had been served in courses or if we would been given a heads-up that everything would arrive at once.
Yummy food. Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice and the stir-fry with the peanut sauce tasted soo good. The virgin mojito jug could have tasted better as it felt a little watered down but otherwise totally worth going.
The food was very nice and big potion here. Bought a whole fried fish. It was delicious. Snapper fish. The restaurant was very busy. Customer service was nice and fast. The restaurant was too noisy, and people popped the wine cap anywhere and could hit someone. Nice place.
