Visited Mamma Mia! and tried the oxtail risotto and beef lasagne. The oxtail risotto had quite a strong taste, while the minced beef in the lasagne was barely noticeable. The portion size was generous. The mushroom soup was served warm. I would’ve preferred it hotter as it cooled down quickly. The garlic bread was also served quite some time after the soup. The restaurant was clean and had a nice ambience. It wasn’t crowded, but it still took a while before the server attended to us and allocated a seat. On the bright side, she was attentive in checking for allergies and reassuring that my allergen wasn’t in any of the dishes. I really liked the honey wings, and it would’ve been better if they served plain water.
Pastas here are definitely above average, quite affordable and honestly pretty nice and worth the price. French fries were crispy. One fault of the place here is that the photos in the menu are not exactly the same as what we were given, in fact when our food arrived it looked much better than the display pictures. Wish they had more variety of drinks and that they will serve ice cream in the future, this place has potential. It's halal certified and honestly serves pretty good pastas. Risottos are also on the high end scale of the price, quite pricey though they look delicious. Will love to try someday. I would recommend the spaghetti carbonara with egg yolk cream sauce and turkey strip served with a fried egg this I feel is the tastiest pasta out of everything I have tried. Personally liked their malfalda pasta as well, tasted fresh and pretty authentic. Will definitely come back again.
First time patronizing this outlet. The speed of service is great. The serving portion size of the dishes are just nice. I like their aglio e olio which has lesser oil compared to other places. The fries are tasty. My kid really loves it.
Ordered the Mushroom Soup, Sea Bass Risotto, and Spaghetti with Brown Butter Prawn & Pink Sauce - everything tasted flavorful and balanced, particularly enjoyed the prawn spaghetti. The service was good, and atmosphere was alright (except for the occasional flies). The prices were reasonable too - would return.
The food is excellent, tasty and delicious. The fries is crispy and crunchy throughout. Prawn risotto is my favorite, rice is tender and can feel the touch of lemon. I surely will be back for other food.
