Stepping into this coffee shop and restaurant felt like escaping to a mini-resort, right within the city! The natural, fresh ambiance was immediately calming. While the food and drinks were moderately good, the breathtaking views and overall atmosphere truly elevated the entire experience. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with nature without leaving town.
I visited this restaurant at 2 p.m. in hot weather, but the greenery and cozy atmosphere kept it cool inside. The staff was very friendly. Unsure of what to order, I asked for a recommendation, and a lady suggested the beef curry. It was incredibly soft and delicious! The mango was super fresh. I’d love to return!
Nice outdoor space to go in the city with lots of different seating areas. You could come solo for dinner or work during day or come with friends for a fun night out. Good prices - happy hour for drinks. Friendly staff and easy moto parking. Would recommend - especially when you feel like you’re been in the city too long and just need trees and grass and freshness. Pet friendly.
Maloop is a hidden gem in Phnom Penh with a beautifully designed garden that makes you feel like you’re dining in a tropical oasis. The variety of trees and plants creates a calm, refreshing atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed meal or a quiet evening out. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, adding to the overall comfort of the place. The food is delicious, thoughtfully prepared with great flavor and presentation. One star off only because the location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s absolutely worth the trip. A great spot worth returning to.
A nice place to get in touch with nature and satisfy your hunger. I tried the chicken pasta with creme and mushrooms, a very hearty dish, but add their home made chili sauce, and I devoured it! So good! I had a hevonly spice chai and my friend had a peanut butter and banana smoothie, both were ok, but a bit light in flavor for me. The sweet potato, taro, and potato fries were not bad, the sauces were better when I added the chili sauce. The atmosphere was cosy, outside with many trees, cats, and two dogs roaming around. Families and large groups took over most of the seating, but everything was chill. We left as mosquitos started roaming after sunset, but many people were still enjoying themselves. There's an area near the front end which looks cozy too. This seems to be a good place to check out if you ever need a break from the city.
