Craving for Nasi Lemak in KL should’ve been easy, but since we were at Pavilion, we decided to try this place instead. ?F&B (+) Nasi Lemak: Reminds me of nasi uduk, though it’s actually lighter in flavor. I had it with rendang instead of chicken curry. The rendang was tasty, but the boiled egg was just average, I expected more. The sambal ikan bilis and shrimp floss were a great combo with the rice. (+) Wide selection of Malay cuisine to choose from, love the variety! ? Service (+) Staff were quite friendly and professional. ?️ Facilities (+) The ambiance is quite formal and well-organized. ? Price (+) Slightly pricey, but acceptable for tourists.
Authentic Malaysian flavours and dishes that are really delicious. Portions are generous and one is able to tell that the ingredients are fresh. Only down side is that the food maybe be heavy on the spices and might be too salty for us. Nonetheless a recommended restaurant for local cuisine fixes in a comfy environment
Create a satisfying review of my dinner at madam kwan pavilion. This outlet is very big, comfortable and clean. It’s not even noisy when it’s almost full. Food portion is huge price is reasonable for its interior, portion and consistency. THE CLAYPOT noodles with soft shell crab is surprisingly good. My favourite nasi bonjari was a little out of expectations today, the rice is a little uncooked today, it’s kinda hard to swallow, it’s as if the chef did not use enough water to steam the rice. The waiting crew after hearing our feedback, was willing to give us a rice replacement, it’s better but still undercook with not enough water, i guess it’s still the same pot. Overall experience is great, Madam kwan menu is now more interesting, suitable for family dining with a great variety of sharing food, local delights, and even chinese food.
