After eating meat-centric dishes for the past week, I was craving something vegetarian. This restaurant delivered! For drinks, we ordered an iced nutmeg (which had a flavor similar to Dr. Pepper) and an iced soya bean. Both were very refreshing. To eat, we shared Vinegar Mee, Char Kuey Teow, and Satay Taufu. The Vinegar Mee came in a big bowl with lots of veggies and ramen noodles. The broth wasn’t as acidic as I expected, but it was umami. The Satay Tofu was yummy, but it needed a bit more flavor and was a bit wet. Our favorite was the Char Kuey Teow! If you order anything here, order this dish. It has tofu, seitan, mushrooms, lettuce, and bok choy. Overall, we spent RM37.50. I highly recommend this restaurant!
This delightful restaurant located near Hokkien Methodist Church at Lorong Madras that offers a variety of delicious options including mixed rice, Yong tau foo, noodle soups, vegan snacks, and more. Not only is the food affordable, but they also have a wonderful selection of vegan snacks that you can take home after enjoying your meal. It's the perfect spot for a satisfying and budget-friendly dining experience, with the added bonus of being able to bring home some tasty treats.
Haven't been here for mang years. Used to love their Laksa, but it's no longer what I expected. Perhaps my taste changed? The petai fried rice is not bad.
The food is delicious and the service is nice! The environment is good, though it gets crowded during mealtimes. The asam laksa is a must-try—it tastes like a typical asam laksa. The prices are reasonable.
Great taste with affordable price. Friendly service. Creamy mushroom rice has become my new favorite dish. The “creamy” part leans more towards a sweet flavor, with a slight spiciness from slices of green chili. I didn’t expect it to taste this good.
