Loved all the dishes we ordered. Staff was able to accommodate our request for no eggs in char kway teow dish. Food portions are good for sharing and prices are reasonable. I liked that they come to our table to take orders too. The menu is well designed to indicate dishes cooked with chill or eggs etc Overall, highly recommended, will visit again!
Not easy to find the entrance to the building, the taxi even dropped me off at the wrong building! But it's all worth the effort, the meal was every bit tasty and being a bigger group of 7 of us, we ordered quite a few of their dishes. Portion size is not too big, most seem like individual portions or for 2, so we had to double up on most dishes. Their double boiled soup was very well done and flavourful. You must try their passionfruit tea.. it's our favourite drink that meal. Wished I can take take away!
Delicious Chinese style vegetarian food. I particularly liked the Penang Char Kway Teow and Lotus Root Soup. All the dishes didn’t taste much of MSG. Reasonable prices and great service. It was quite quiet on a Monday evening in Sep 2024. —- 2nd visit in Oct 2024: The sweet potato leaf and melon soup were both too salty for me. So I reduced from 5 star to 4 star. It was quite full on Sunday evening but a few tables were available. —— 3rd visit in April 2025: Char kway teow was delicious as usual. The clay pot tofu portion was smaller than last time, but still tasty. The stir-fried watercress was nicely done as well. None of the dishes was overly salty this time.
We ordered several dishes that were both healthy and delicious: - Vegetarian steak – crispy on the outside, tender inside, with a satisfying bite - Crispy yam ring with mixed vegetables – light, fragrant, and full of texture - Stir-fried sweet potato leaves – simple, fresh, and not overly oily - Broccoli with monkey head mushrooms – the mushrooms soaked up the flavorful sauce beautifully, perfect with rice - Herb Soup – warm, comforting, and truly nourishing Eating vegetarian isn’t just a ritual — it’s a gentle reset for the body and mind. A clean, mindful meal like this leaves you feeling both refreshed and centered. Highly recommended for anyone looking to eat well and feel good!
