New Territories, G/F, 23-27 Lamma Island, Outlying, Sok Kwu Wan First St, Hong Kong
We had a good time. Ordered the set menu for 4. Although I would say the prices are quite high. Besides the price, we thought the food was good.
We used to visit Lamma regularly and had lunch or dinner at Rainbow. But it's been a while. Glad it has kept its quality.
A fantastic spot for anyone who loves fresh seafood. The restaurant is located right on the water, offering a great breeze and a lovely view of the bay. The seafood is exceptionally good—you can tell everything is caught locally and prepared with care. It’s a bit more of a premium experience compared to other local spots, but the quality of the food and the atmosphere make it a solid 4-star choice. Perfect for a long weekend lunch!
The food was decent and the price was quite reasonable for the quality and quantity of seafood that was served. The seafood was generally quite fresh, with a special emphasis on the fried oysters and the fried squid being highlights. The fish soup was also very comforting and delicious. They also provide complimentary ferry service to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui, so be sure to check their website for the most updated ferry schedule!
We’ve eaten at the local restaurants a few times and when we go it’s always empty. This visit we went to Rainbow and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh and so tasty. The server was great, she warned us of the price of the pealed vs shelled prawns, which was really honest of her. Will come back!
