Dear La Veen Coffee Team, Coming from Melbourne, where I've sampled numerous great coffees, I was thoroughly impressed with the flat white I had at your King Street location. It was on another level - smooth, rich, and incredibly enjoyable. The staff were not just friendly but also engaging; I had a wonderful chat that made my visit all the more pleasant. Despite the breakfast being a pre-made meal that staff heated up, it was surprisingly good, showcasing that even convenience doesn't compromise on taste at La Veen. Thank you for an outstanding coffee experience, which has set a new benchmark for me. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Perth. Warm regards,
Good coffee it tasted really awesome! They’ve used the best of the best coffee beans you can taste it right away and even the milk is quality. The team of young ladies working there were lovely and friendly too. Thank you for your hospitality and see you next time! La Veen Coffee – Perth CBD A cosy city corner serving serious coffee and quality bites ⸻ Stumbled upon this tiny corner café while wandering the city in the morning—and it was just the vibe we needed. Sunny, buzzing, and filled with happy people enjoying their coffee. While both inside and outside were packed, we managed to snag a table right after ordering. The vibe is cosy, comfortable, and inviting—perfect for a slow morning or a casual catch-up. Ambience: 4.5/5 ⸻ What We Tried 1. Chicken Baguette: 5/5 The baguette—made with a mix of flours—was wonderfully textured, fresh, and slightly warm. You can tell these guys take their baking seriously. A standout. 2. Mini Bagel with Ham & Cheese: 4/5 Soft, chewy, and perfectly portioned. Simple, but hits the spot. 3. Almond Cranberry Ball: 3.5/5 A sweet little treat, but just a tad too sugary for our liking. Still enjoyable with coffee. 4. Cappuccino: 5/5 Balanced, smooth, and rich—just what a morning coffee should be. 5. Long Black: 5/5 Excellent roast. Full-bodied and flavourful without being overpowering. 6. Mocha: 4/5 A bit on the chocolatey side compared to a classic mocha, but delicious all the same. ⸻ Service: 5/5 The staff were friendly, quick, and clearly know their craft. Orders came out promptly, and there’s a sense of pride in what they serve, especially when chatting about their bread. Overall Experience: 4.5/5 La Veen is a little gem in the city—great coffee, honest food, and an atmosphere that draws you in. Whether you’re after a quick caffeine fix or a quiet spot to unwind, this place hits the mark. Definitely worth a stop when you’re in the CBD.
La Veen Coffee the unsung hero of my morning survival. Their coffee is a work of art, crafted with the precision of a caffeinated genius, and their muffins? Pure fuel for the soul. Best enjoyed when the gravitational pull of your bed is stronger than your will to clock in at work. If you're teetering on the edge of productivity, one sip and bite here will catapult you right back into functional adulthood.
Great spot for breakfast! I had breakfast here several times with my son and it’s always been a pleasant experience. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. Staff is friendly and the place has a calm atmosphere with good, chilly music. Definitely a great place to start the day, have conversations, or simply have some damn good coffee— highly recommended!
