The place has really huge space and comfortable seats. The staff was friendly and helpful. They separate different dishes in few areas, so everyone won't stuck in the same area. There has quite many choices, but I can that they can improve the desserts, cause the choice was a bit limited. A great place for people who is vegetarian, vegans or you just don't want to eat any meat today, so you can have delicious meal with quality products.

Hello Viewers, ??️ "Ventured into the heart of Kaohsiung City with my girlfriend, on a quest for vegetarian delights, and stumbled upon the hidden gem that is KYO KYO Vegetarian Restaurant, nestled by the Marriott. ? Navigating to this place felt like a mini adventure game – finding the elevator was our first quest (took us a solid 20 minutes! ?️‍♂️?). It's like they wanted to test our hunger levels before rewarding us with food! ? Once we ascended to the dining heavens, we were greeted with a smorgasbord of vegetarian wonders. ??? The array of dishes was like a United Nations of food - Taiwanese, Japanese, Western - all living in delicious harmony. With around 60 types of dishes, my taste buds went on a world tour! ?✈️ The service? Top-notch! The staff were more attentive than a detective at a crime scene, swooping in to clear plates and offering us the special of the night. ?️‍♀️? At around NT800, my wallet didn't scream for mercy, which was a pleasant surprise. It's a small price to pay for embarking on a culinary journey of this caliber, in a setting that's as serene as a Zen garden. ?? Would I come back? In a heartbeat – if I can find that elusive elevator again! ?? #VegetarianParadise #ElevatorQuest #KYOadventures" Paul

Vegetarian all you can eat buffet located in Mariott Kaohsiung. Not to be confused with the other buffet restaurant at the same level. The best all you can eat vegetarian buffet so far in Taiwan. Huge variety of food, with some standouts such as the mushroom gratin, "soft shell crab" with salted egg, vegetarian"steak". Truffle risotto, peanut tofu.

We were here for dinner. AMAZING spread. Never seen so many vegetarian options in a buffet, many of which were also local cuisine and so, nice to try. Service is excellent, friendly and efficient staff. Birthday discount made our day! I cannot recommend this place enough, do not miss it if you’re in the city, and are vegetarian or vegan.

KYO KYO is an all-vegetarian buffet nestled on the 9th floor of the Marriott Hotel in Kaohsiung. I was eager to try this spot as I've rarely been able to indulge in a plant-based buffet, let alone one of this magnitude. With Taiwan being known for its veg options, I knew I had to see for myself. Cost was about NTD900 a person which is steep for Taiwanese pricing but pretty standard for westerners especially for a buffet of this size. When we walked in, we were told that this was an all-vegetarian buffet, almost to make sure we knew what we were getting ourselves into. The buffet is separated into multiple sections with tons of options. If you are a vegetarian in the traditional sense (allowing for dairy and eggs), you're going to really enjoy the buffet selection. They have cold cut areas for sushi, hot western and Asian dishes, Taiwanese specialties, soups, and desserts. Everything is clearly marked so you'll know what allergens it contains, although it's a bit trickier to identify the fully vegan options. As for me, I was only able to eat less than half the items since a lot of them contained dairy or eggs. I enjoyed the kognac sashimi, the stinky tofu, and assorted mock meats. They also had an extensive juice bar and even some vegan desserts. My one major gripe was seeing items that could've been fully veganized but weren't due to a sauce or added ingredient. I saw a "Vegan eel in mayo tuna salad," which to me makes it confusing and unnecessary to even call it vegan anymore. Just drop the word vegan as we know the entire buffet is vegetarian anyways. Overall, really happy I got to try this buffet as I doubt I'll have a chance to do this again anytime in the near future.
