Authentic South Indian restaurant at Serangoon road. Dishes are tasty and good. Rates are very competitive. Ambiance is well maintained and service is slow. Mini tiffin combo is worth for the price. Masala tea also tastes good. Staircase to the first floor dining area is little steep. ♿️❌

I had an amazing breakfast at Komala Vilas. Didn’t have much time to experiment with different dishes, so went for their infamous Masala dosa and it was delightful. Also, strongly suggest to try their masala tea as it was the best I’ve ever tried in my life. And they have a great choice of sweets. Simple ladoo ball can be a nice addition to your meal (as it was for me).

Absolutely recommend. And I even had to queue to get it. But it was 100% worth it!

I wrote a detail review on my blog but I will say that my dad kept talking about this place and was excited to go again after a few decades. It was my first time here and I will say it lived up to the hype! The food was genuinely really good so much flavour and taste, I don’t think you can be disappointed! It is a little cramped and. might be a bit of a wait depending when you go so sometimes the service might take longer than expected but for the most part they are fast.  Regardless, I still had a great meal and I also appreciate the rich history this restaurant has! If you’re in Singapore you need to go here!

I had a fantastic experience at this Komala Villas South Indian restaurant! this is located at main road This is the original restaurant.
The menu offers a wide variety of authentic South Indian dishes, from crispy dosas and soft idlis to flavorful curries and aromatic biryanis. Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and bursting with traditional flavors.

The service was exceptional—staff members were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to recommend dishes based on our preferences. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great place for both casual dining and special occasions.
