Managed by the Potato Head Family, this stylish dining spot offers a spacious and inviting atmosphere, featuring rustic wood furniture that adds to its charm. The floor space is thoughtfully divided into two distinct areas: one for dining and another for relaxing and socializing. The restaurant showcases traditional Indonesian cuisine, with dishes expertly prepared by talented chefs in an open kitchen, allowing you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the culinary process. After browsing the menu, we decided to try the Tongseng Buntut, a rich and flavorful oxtail soup cooked in creamy Santan, with a subtle touch of sweetness that perfectly balanced the savory flavors. We also had the grilled fish, which was wonderfully spicy and packed with bold, vibrant flavors. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning to explore more of their menu!

Among the standout dishes, the **satay** was perfectly grilled—tender, well-seasoned, and paired with a rich, aromatic peanut sauce. Equally impressive was the **Bebek Timus** (fried duck), which was crispy on the outside yet succulent inside, especially when paired with their flavorful **sambal**—a must-try for spice lovers. To conclude the meal, the desserts were nothing short of amazing. Each offering was crafted with precision, balancing sweetness and texture beautifully. Overall, **Kaum Jakarta** delivers an outstanding culinary journey through Indonesia’s diverse flavors. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors seeking an elevated experience.

Great vibes, nice food and drinks. Fantastic for a get together, really had a good time here. The beef tongue was super tender and will strongly recommend the smoked roast duck!

Unexpectedly find this place in the middle of the busy Jakarta. I love the vibes so much! It’s a mix of local taste and modern at the same time. Fit for chill with friends after office hour. The staff Khairul welcome us warmly, thank you! Will certainly come back here!

Visited Kaum in weekday afternoon, there is no need to wait. However after 12pm there would be a crowd :) The food is good, there are variety of choices. The waitress is very friendly and helpful :) The satay is a must!
