We visited Kandy Bites today and tried the Hopper Set and Dolphin Kottu. Absolutely loved both dishes – a big shoutout to the chef for their amazing talent! The flavors were incredible. The front service was also excellent – Naiyma was especially warm and welcoming. Overall, we’re 100% satisfied with the experience and will definitely be visiting again!

From the moment we stepped in until the final bite of dessert, we absolutely enjoyed everything! The food was top notch!!! Especially the rice and curry, which were bursting with authentic flavors. But the true star of the meal was the watalappam ?? honestly the best I’ve ever had. Big kudos to the amazing staff and the talented chef for such a memorable experience. We need you in Brisbane !!!!!! PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN !!!!

Kandy bites in Glebe has great food and good service at very reasonable prices. I feel they may have spiced it down to cater for locals which is ok if thats what locals and regulars want but those after authentic Sri Lankan it might be a little of a disapointment. The food is still very good and very fresh, we had a mixed meat platter to share with Negombo spiced garlic prawns both very good, the biryani was light fluffy and flavourful, a great alround meal but if you want it spicy you will need to tell them upfront. The staff are very friendly and the decor is colourful and vibrant. They advertise music nights with set price food etc that sounds like a good night out.

I celebrated my birthday at Kandy Chef Ceylon and had a wonderful experience! They served delicious Sri Lankan food—hoppers, string hoppers, and pittu, paired with lamb curry, chicken curry, kiri hodi, and a variety of sambals. The faluda was absolutely mouth-watering and perfectly complemented the spicy dishes. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with soothing music and minimal disturbances. We had ample time to enjoy ourselves. A big thank you to Moshan, the manager, for the excellent service and thoughtful organisation. Highly recommended for group parties and gatherings—excellent service all around!

Colourful charming and culinary delight?‍♀️ Food special, it’s fun and delicious. The hoppers ( first time we’ve had these) savoury and sweet all excellent. Curries all good and so were the entrees. Sri Lankan drinks on the menu- authentic and it’s licensed. The service friendly. The interior is bright and intriguing. A lot of tables for large groups and suitable for kids and big family get together. This is a good place located close to parramatta road end of Glebe Point Road.
