Hearty and generous meal in a convenient location. Lamb was in a pattie form and a flavour bomb. Yoghurt drink was refreshing! My favourite was the lentil rice base, seasoned well and moreish. Will be back again but will have to be on my next non working day (they are open Monday to Friday only). If you want to eat and do good for the wider community at the same time, your meal also provides a meal for someone in Afghanistan and in Australia.

Eaten at Kabul Social twice now and both times have been a total delight. The lunch plate portion is huge ($20) and I had chicken, maash palaw (rice) and it is served with salad, some fries, onion pickles, labneh and the red chutney sauce is delicious and a little bit spicy! The women working in the kitchen and serving are so lovely and their food is top notch. Sharing their cooking skills and settling into their new life in Australia as Afghani refugees. ??♥️?? As if there wasn't enough to love about this place, each meal purchased here funds a meal for someone in need in Afghanistan and in Sydney! I come to Kabul Social as a special treat and don't need dinner afterwards because I am so full. Seating is on beautifully tiled communal tables, it can get busy so be prepared to share with strangers who you will instantly make friends with as you talk about how insanely good the food is. Menu and prices have slightly changed since photos taken late last year but prices have not increased by much. Come and show them some love.

First time to Kabul Social Feb 2025 after knowing of it for awhile and finally getting there for lunch en route to Central Station via Wynyard. This place represents outstanding value for a $20 spend. The food is fresh, full of flavour and plentiful. You will be full and then some! Recommended is either the Flatbread ? ? or Palaw (rice) option (not both together as they are so filling) and the grilled chicken. I was served extra salad, fries and condiments without even asking so this amounts to a straight-up feast! I also tried the Dough which is a fermented yoghurt drink with an acquired taste, so maybe only for the adventurous this one. Be aware that KS is open for lunch ONLY and the seating space limited and confined once inside (no outside seating options). Overall the food was fabulous, service from the ladies fast and friendly and such good value for the price. I will be back!

Come here and be transported to heaven. The rice is amazing, sauces are a perfect flavour of spice and warmth. The chicken is flavoured and cooked to perfection. Come here and eat a plate worthy to be served to a king without needing to be a king. Service was amazing, felt like I was eating at a friend's house. I recommend bringing all your friends and family for the meal of a lifetime.

Accidentally discovered this GEM today as I was exploring some new and amazing food options. As I was passing this store I gave a thought at first but went in with my guts saying it might come out great. Oh boy, Kabul social really gave me more than I expected. The food was amazing(Rice, chicken, Chips, Salad and sauces all together in one) and the quantity was good. Service was fast and amazing.
