The food is fresh and delicious! The prices are reasonable—for example, 10 good-sized grilled abalones cost only 30,000 won, a must-try dish. The long fish is also highly recommended. The staff, or perhaps the owner, speaks English, is very friendly, and takes the time to explain the dishes. We ordered several dishes and were pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary fried fish, which was absolutely delicious. This restaurant is located by a stunning coastal area where you can enjoy views of seagulls and ducks. Highly recommended!
Fantastic lunch. Ordered hairtail fish, butter grilled abalone, abalone stew and abalone porridge. The hairtail tasted so fresh and sweet even without any sauce. Restaurant owner came to explain to us how the side dishes were made and that the fish was caught from the sea just outside the restaurant. Each fish is caught individually. The grilled hairtail fish came with the hook still in its mouth. I was told this restaurant charged almost half the price for hairtail fish than other restaurants. Had a really good experience here.
Very chill and cozy restaurant with nice sea view and food. All the side dishes are unexpectedly tasty. We like the japchae noodles and the salad with berry-taste dressing. For the main dishes, we didn’t order for the fish as we just had it night before. We have ordered abalone rice and porridge. Abalone rice is slightly salty but the kimchi complement it. Abalone porridge is rich in flavour. It’s full house during the lunch hour. Helpful staff who can speak English and Mandarin.
This restaurant deserves a 5 star review. Best meal I have ever had in Korea. The abalone porridge and abalone pot rice were very very delicious! The cutlass fish stew was scrumptious! Would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Best meal at Jeju so far. Quality, taste, freshness all good. The grilled abalone was surprisingly tender. Lots of abalone in the porridge and rice bowls. The sides were free flow and suited to our tastebuds, and we went for seconds. They also provided a free fried fish appetizer which was really fresh.
