Amazing Halal Food in Jeju! Asalam Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious halal food in Jeju. The lamb mandi rice was incredibly flavorful, and the hummus and falafel were some of the best I’ve had in Korea. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and they even have a prayer room for Muslim guests. Service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. A small tip—make sure to arrive before 9:40 PM, as that’s the last order time. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jeju and looking for great halal food!
Easily walking distance around the area. I walked from Hotel Daedong, to go is actually not far from the shopping city (U can try take the bus which I prefer walking, I was there in Feb pleasant to walk around). Foods: so so so good! I ordered non-protein Nasi Mandhi was so so tasty even just the rice! Not salty and taste is just right. With hummus & bread (1 piece of bread as big size as normal eating plate). Generous. She’ll serve U water once U sit at ur seat. Prices is very reasonable & affordable, spent 17,000 only. Restroom available outside, ok clean. *the restaurant was switching on Al-Quran recitation so U could feel more calmer:) Well done!
This restaurant was a gem in terms of quality of food - I come from Singapore where we know Arabic cuisine well - this resto will come up tops in any comparison For us - the big winner is the Mandi rice. Built on a base of good quality basmati, the light use of spices and onion made the rice so flavorful I decided to put aside my carbs phobia and eat every grain. The lamb is cooked so tender, it literally melts in the mouth We enjoyed the roasted chicken and chicken kebab. Especial mention must be made for the salsa of tomato onions etc - we slapped it on the meats and the tangy flavor was a good complement Hummus was good and the flat bread served crisp at the edges was very good. We made ourselves green tea flavored with mint which cleared the palette which the resto serves free to guests
A cozy, family-owned spot with incredibly tasty food. The lamb shawarma and hummus were my favorites. The owner, a kind Yemeni gentleman, clearly pours his heart into every dish!
One of the BEST restaurants I have eaten at in price/quality ratio worldwide. Incredibly friendly, clean, fast service, and perfect flavor. One little mixup with another table's bill, but no worries. Sweet Muslim family running the show, we would love to eat here again. Maybe in the future we come again. We wish you the very best-Andrew and family from Chicago
