3 Ocean Dr, Aberdeen, Hong Kong
Overall the experience is great. A waitress was assigned to serve us and she is very attentive to refill tea, the teapot is huge so you should get her help. The tasting menu includes Crabmeat, soup with assorted dried seafood both are 5*, steam grouper with silky smooth egg, can’t bring out the sweetness and freshness of the fish I would say. Smoked pigeon taste great, not oily at all. Stuffed tomato okay, guess it’s to clear the palate of my mouth before the abalone pot rice, not too wet with chewiness. Love it and empty it tho I was already quite full. Will visit again and daytime to completely enjoy the panoramic sea views.
Jade is a great Chinese restaurant conveniently located near the upper-section of Ocean Park. The atmosphere of the restaurant is modern, while still delivering an authentic experience. Same goes for the service, where the staff are always nearby and happy to help for whatever queries you may have while dining at the restaurant. The food is definitely high quality as well. My top favourites were the deep-fried crab leg and the peking duck (came with unique toppings such as cantaloupe).
The best thing about the restaurant is the spectacular spacious sea view. Also, the tables are located far from one another which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Service was okay but it seems the restaurant was a bit understaffed. Food was not bad but kind of expected more from a hotel restaurant. But in any case it is not easy to find a hotel restaurant that is children-friendly so still a good choice for people who want a comfortable yum cha experience with family
Jade has been prized by intellectuals for its subtle translucency and durability, and these qualities have been moralized to equal the virtues of a junzi gentleman. the jade culture has been deeply embedded into China's national character.
What makes JADE at The Fullerton Hotel Hong Kong distinct from other restaurants is that a wide array of traditional Cantonese dishes are offered against the backdrop of panoramic mountain and sea views. I am glad to have celebrated my birthday here. The menu was curated with heartwarming delicacies. Every dish, from dim sums to soups, from seasonal specialties to fresh seafood, was prepared with the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients. Some of my favourite dishes include, but definitely not limited to: (1) Deep-fried bean curd roll stuffed with Black Truffle, Carrot, Black Fungus and Mushroom (2) Baked Crab Shell stuffed with Fresh Crab Meat and Onion (3) Smoked Tai On Chicken with Fragrant Tea Leaves and Soy Sauce (4) Steamed Rice with Shrimp, Conpoy and Mushroom in Abalone Sauce wrapped with Lotus Leaf. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Ronnie for offering me assistance with reservation, preparation and arrangements. She is definitely the most friendly and supportive staff. I am looking forward to my next visit to Jade!
