I had a great experience at this restaurant. Despite arriving with a party of nine during a busy time, the staff managed to seat us within about 30 minutes, which was impressive given how packed it looked. The wait was absolutely worth it. Ordering through the machine was straightforward, and the food exceeded expectations – I’d rate it a solid 7 to 8 out of 10, which is no small feat. I ordered the spicy fried chicken noodle soup, and it was delicious – flavorful, satisfying, and well-prepared. It’s always a gamble trying new places, but this restaurant is one you won’t regret. I’d happily eat here again knowing the quality and taste are consistently good. Definitely worth checking out!

Very nice ramen. And this is HALAL ramen so very recommended for moslem traveler. The place one floor below the street so dont be confused. Eventhough the place not too big, but it is very clean. Jump to the food, I order very spicy ramen and at first I underestimate japanese level of spicy, but this spicy enough to make me sweat. Also there is karage or fried chicken that you can order. I really love ramen and hope there are a lot more halal ramen that availaible.

It's located down a flight of stairs, along a hallway that includes other restaurants. It has a few tables and is meant to be more of a casual spot. We ordered the spicy fried chicken ramen and it was delicious as usual from other locations we have been to. Service was fast and great.

Wow, best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my existence! I ordered “fried spicy chicken gyoza”, “fried chicken w/ tartar sauce” and the “regular beef rice bowl”. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be going again soon !

I had a great bowl of ramen at Honolu Halal Ramen in Shinjuku. This spot is on the basement floor of a small shopping area inside of a building. You order with the classic vending-machine-style ticket system. I was pleasantly surprised to find so that the shop was mostly staffed by Indonesians, which made the halal aspect make a lot of sense. I like Indonesia, and understand the language to an extent, so it was fun speaking with them. I ordered spicy fried chicken ramen. It wasn’t overly spicy (though I think some other customers found it pretty hot), and it was super flavorful. The breading on the chicken somehow held together while in the broth and didn’t become too soggy. The chicken was juicy and fresh, and the noodles will the perfect texture. The rich broth rounded out everything well. Weighing price, service, and quality, Honolu is hard to beat — you can get one of the cleanest and tastiest bowls of ramen in Shinjuku here for under 2,000 JPY (~$14 USD). I recommend trying this spot out!
