One of the best K-Fried chicken and service I have had in Melbourne. The food's flavor was not over the top. It was just right which made it very easy for us to finish our food quickly. I definitely recommend their lemon cream sauce. The sauce was mild, sweet, but also fragrant of lemon. There was a tiny mishap with our fried chicken, something that I am sure was not due to their fault at all. When I noticed them, they immediately took action, offered to replace the food and even refunded us for the dish. I really appreciate their prompt, honest, and no fuss response. Will definitely come back to this place!

Guljak Topokki Chicken is a great spot for Korean comfort food in Melbourne! Located conveniently in Emporium Lower Ground, it’s perfect for a quick lunch or a casual dinner. Tried the Rose Topokki with Chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! The sauce was creamy, slightly spicy, and super rich, coating the chewy rice cakes perfectly. The chicken was tender and soaked up all the flavors—reminded me of spicy Korean fire noodles but with a creamy twist! Their boneless fried chicken (Half & Half) was another highlight. The Lemon Cream flavor ? was super refreshing, with a tangy and creamy balance that kept it from feeling too heavy. The other half was cheesy and indulgent ?, with melty cheese adding extra richness. The coleslaw and fresh onions on the side helped cut through the richness—great for balance! Also had the Charcoal Beef Bulgogi Rice, and the grilled beef was super flavorful and smoky, with a hint of sweetness from the marinade. The Korean seaweed on top added extra umami, making it incredibly satisfying. The food quality was great, portions were generous, and the staff were friendly! They even have a Korean lunch buffet during the day, which I’d love to try next time. Highly recommend for anyone craving solid Korean flavors, especially if you love fried chicken and topokki! ?

Guljak Topokki and Chicken - Boneless Garlic Chicken $22 - Ttukbaegi Bulgogi $23 - Japchae $18 - Tochi Couple Set (Rose Topokki, Kanpung Chicken, Drink) $59 - Corndog $10 Guljak Topokki and Chicken is conveniently located inside Emporium, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of shopping. They specialise in Korean fried chicken and topokki, offering a wide variety of flavours to choose from. The Kanpung flavour stood out—sweet, spicy, and unique. They also offer tasty fried snacks like corn dogs and seaweed rolls, which pair well with the topokki. If you’re after something more filling, they also serve Bangsang (set meals). We tried the bulgogi version, and it was pretty decent. #invite
