We really like the inside of the restaurant. The whole decoration is kind of wooden, rustic. It's a bit dark but you will get used to it. The salads are pretty much Kiwi style. The meat section has limited choices. The lamp Rogan Josh has lots of bones and fat. The devil fish has bones as well. Please be very careful. Only two items for desert.

A standout dish I would say the kottu, which was flavorful and generously portioned. The service was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations, and they were attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive. If you're in Papatoand looking to try authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, Grand Ceylon is a must-visit. The combination of traditional flavors, modern presentation, and excellent service makes it one of the best dining experiences in the city. Highly recommended! Had their lamprais today. Best lumprise i ever had from a Sri Lankan restaurant in NZ so far. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.

Enjoyed a fantastic family evening at the Grand Ceylon , The food was so delicious and beautifully presented, and the relaxed ambiance made it even better. Huge thanks to Jorge for his warm and professional service he truly went above and beyond. Definitely looking forward to our next visit!

It was a nice delicious experience. I took the courage to taste their one of the spicy dish. It was indeed spicy but was favourful and satisfying. Keep up the great service along with outstanding dishes. I recommend it.
