Several of us had their Chinese New Year’s seafood dinner buffet. Food: 5/5 - endless choices from seafood dim sum to lobster. All were good. My favorite was the lobster. Service: 4/5 - the servers were prompt in clearing our plates. They did a good job with New Year’s Eve. Atmosphere: 5/5 - nice ambiance to the place. They even had a lion’s dance to ring in the new Year!

From traditional Singaporean dishes to desserts, everything on the menu was delicious. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great value for the quality. It feels like enjoying elevated street food in a comfortable, air-conditioned setting. The staff are friendly and efficiently clear the plates at the right time. But the best reason to visit? The unlimited seafood!

Visited on a weekday for their lunch buffet at $55++ per pax. This is a Korean-themed lunch spread at Parkroyal on Beach Road’s Ginger restaurant. Located conveniently at Level 1. I got to say the service rendered, from the point of entry, to the meal and post-meal was very delightful. All the staff were super attentive, friendly and always with a smile on their face. I particularly love the chicken bulgogi, chicken herbal soup, Singapore laksa, satay, Nasi Lemak (with blue butterfly pea rice), Otah Otah, Kueh Pie Ti, and meatballs. The sushi options were average and quality was fresh but not too fantastic. They have a great range of desserts too from self-service pancakes, ice cream to delightful nonya-style kuehs. Parking coupons are available upon requests and it's a 10mins walk from Bugis MRT.

Sudden craving on buffet over weekend so decided to bring my family to try a new one. Wife told me to install eatigo as there's discount. Available seats at 1800 with a 30% discount there. For 4+1 pax, probably cost around 150+. I would say it's worth it as the variety is sufficient. Being a typical sger, there's hot/cold drinks, fruits, starters, keropok, sushi, sashami, western meats (although both wife and me feel meats are bit hard so this part could have done better), baked cheesy lobsters, Italian spaghetti, SG delights such as chilli crabs and fried bun (mantou), of course Korean popcorn chickens and pancake (since the theme here seems to be Korean style but they are actually quite diverse), kway pie tee, soy milk w purple rice (bandung?). Oh and their sambal chilli sauce w lime ?‍? is perfect w any other food. Must try! Waiters and waitresses clear off plates really prompt and service well. They even offered ice cream and abalone porridge (this is free on the house). Although eatigo suggests that this ginger restaurant is new but I'm sure it will definitely get a rating above 4 for sure. If you ask me will I come back again, yes I will definitely consider coming back w friends, coworkers and family. Oh yes don't forget to get complimentary parking if you drive. Happy weekend 5/4/25.

Such a pleasant surprise. Bright, spacious, with tropical and colonial flair. First time here ever. They did well with their renovations 4 years ago. The tables are well-spaced, great for families and big groups. I came with a group of 4. Appreciated that they were Halal too. Good mix of flavours, with a bigger focus on Peranakan and Korean this time round. I ate so much sashimi, cos their fish was fresh. And I did multiple rounds of their desserts. Attentive service. The team answered all my questions. I tend to ask a lot. Plus I did notice that they have an inclusive hiring policy, based on their kitchen staff. Kudos for that! One of the most reasonably priced buffets I’ve been too in Singapore. I’d go back mostly for the ambience and my comfort levels. I enjoyed the experience thoroughly that the time just flew by so fast.
