8 Tit Hong Ln, Central, Hong Kong
Good hibernate food for vegetarians and vegans. Big crowd during lunch. Very economic. Offer takeaway. Staff is friendly
A small vegetarian eatry provides lunch set at a relatively low price in Central. It was always crowded with people working nearby during lunch time. As there are few seats in the eatery and limited spaces between tables and chairs, many people ordered lunch box takeaway. There were 13 dishes for selecton, basically got 2 dishes with unlimited rice or noodle and soup. I like pan fried bean curd roll with sesame and sweet sauce. The sauce was different from that for steamed rice rolls which was tasty and special. It provides home like dishes in traditional Hong Kong style.
The food is okay, but what I like is they serving size is big so it is good for budget traveller. If you dine in, the price is higher than take away but the rice, noodles and soup are unlimited. The service is good , one lady can speak English. The place has air conditioner so it is not hot. But the room is small, so you have to eat with other people on one table. There are 4 tables. (Maybe due to the limited space the price for dine in is more expensive than price for take away).
Not the tastiest food but definitely value for money. Unlimited rice/noodle/soup when you dine in. Kids can eat in for $20. They ran out of half the ingredients at 1:30pm on a Tues and there were still people waiting outside for takeaway
Very good vegetarian place. Cheap price also.
