This place is run by volunteers doing the cooking and serving. Once in a while, a rich person decides to do a bit of charity work, the customers that day will get to enjoy free meals. During the pandemic, free vegetarian packed meals were left at the entrance for anyone who would need them. Their cooking can be considered "home-meals". Simple, nutritious, easy to eat and digest. Two dishes with a healthy helping of rice is RM4. The more dishes you call, the more you pay. I have frequented this place since 2018 and throughout the pandemic, they have remained steadfast to their food quality and prices(slightly raised now). Do yourself some charitable deeds. Eat there, pack or maybe just sponsor a day's meal for anyone/everyone needing it. Don't worry- the community around them are not greedy or self-centred. They DONT take the free meals if they can afford to pay them. That's the dignified people we have here ?
Old fashioned humble vegetarian coffee shop. Always drop by for vegetarians on the 1st and 15th Chinese calendar. Simple dishes. You can donate meals as well. They will prepare noodles / rice put on the front table and allow unfortunate people take it for free. They cook vegetarian wanton Mee, curry mee and noodle soup as well.
I went on 4th day of CNY 2025, it was closed, can't try the food..
