Essaouira is truly a gem of a Moroccan restaurant. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like we were transported straight to Morocco. The decor is stunning, with beautiful tiles, vibrant colors, and intricate details that make the whole atmosphere feel authentic and inviting. The food was incredible, with rich, bold flavors that left us impressed. But what really set this place apart was the exceptional service. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and they were especially kind to our 15-month-old. Even though they didn’t have a high chair, the waitress literally picked him up and was so sweet, playing with him and making sure he was comfortable throughout the meal. This kind of thoughtful, personal touch made the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
What an incredible restaurant! Such a lovely and cozy atmosphere, the decor really transports you to Morocco! The staff were beyond friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional too! Everything we got was delicious and I would highly recommend the Fassi sweet couscous and the lamb tagines. And of course the mint tea after dinner.
Big portion of food, I love that special tiny rice , smells good and tastes good too, The chicken is well seasoned and incredibly tender and warm when served, it’s delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and very good service.
Incredibly beautiful, cozy interior that transports you down to Africa. The cumin, paprika, cinnamon, lemons, and olives - all the classic Moroccan flavors are on display here. Kebabs, tagines, and couscous plates are all available. I had the spicy sausage and Moroccan salad starter followed by the salty chicken tagine which arrived sizzling and bubbling away. Mint tea and pastries were the perfect desert. This place is a wonderful complement to all the French and Italian bistros around Paris. Highly recommended!
