The food maintained the high standards Din Tai Fung is known for, and the chicken soup was exceptionally fresh and flavorful. What stood out most was the excellent service. I accidentally spilled the chicken soup while trying to pour it into my noodle bowl. The staff responded incredibly quickly, cleaning up the mess within two minutes and even replacing my soup with a fresh one. Their efficiency and attentiveness really eased the awkwardness of the situation. Thank you for such thoughtful service!
We went there on Sunday night for dinner. We arrived at 9PM, and the male staff kindly invited us to sit down. He informed us that they were closing earlier than usual, at 9.30PM. The food arrived around 9.15PM, so we had to eat in a bit of a hurry. The taste was great, I especially loved the chili sauce! I wish they would sell it, I would definitely buy it. Haha The price is quite expensive, but it’s understandable since isn’t a budget restaurant.
The food was so delicious, that i'm still thinking about it. My personal favourite was the shrimp & chicken spicy wanton!! I would definitely recommend trying that dish. And the chocolate xiao long bao was amazing!! THE FLAVOURS, would definitely revisit. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breaking fast at Din Tai Fung during Ramadhan was a wonderful experience. The staff were exceptionally well-prepared and attentive—they ensured that all our food was served right on time for iftar. It made the evening feel seamless and stress-free, which is such a relief during a busy fasting day. What made it even more special was how they helped us celebrate a birthday. They went the extra mile by assisting with the birthday cake and creating a smooth and joyful moment for everyone at the table. The combination of thoughtful service, delicious food, and genuine hospitality truly stood out. Din Tai Fung continues to impress, not just with its iconic xiao long bao and consistent quality, but also with the care they show to guests, especially during meaningful moments like Ramadhan and birthdays. Highly recommended! PS : sorry to the late post : )
Must try food at this outlet is the signature steam dumpling and fried mushrooms with salted eggs. Based on the dishes ordered (veg, sweet and sour prawns, wonton, 2 types of dumpling and fried rice, 2 noodles), the portions were a bit small for a table of 8, we had to order addtional dishes later on. At least capital taking our order at the beginning should have advised us whether it was sufficient for a table of 8
