I saw Din Tai Fung at MidValley always pack with people so I decided to try. Sadly to say, the food not up to the expectation with the price. Shrimp won ton noodle, looking at it can tell is too plain and the taste even plain. RM26, not that worth. Shrimp Egg fried rice, looks good but taste so so. The taste of egg stronger than taste of fried rice. If I would have to compare, sorry to say Dragon-i taste better. Good thing is the environment is good and relaxing, service is good as well. I believed the food can be improved.
The food was exceptionally good ! Braised beef noodles was so yummy and tender not to forget the most viral dumpling soup! Was definitely worth the hype . Cant go wrong with the chic n shrimp fried rice !Great portion as well. The dessert complimented the entire meal .Will definitely come again.Oh they even gave my son a colouring set .Also bringing the baby cutleries without me asking so well done on the Customer service end. Staffs were attentive .
Food was served fast. Service was okay. Drinks are a little overpriced for the amount and quality. Egg fried rice was good. But serving a bit small for the price. Custard bun was my friend’s favorite. Shrimp and chicken dumpling was okay. Choco xiao long bao was nice, a bit chewy. Maybe because we ate it when it wasn’t super hot anymore.
Every visit to DIN is worth every penny, the service they deliver is consistent with the high standards found at any other branch. However, the only downside was the interior and ambience needs a quick makeover as some of the other branches like the one in TRX or Twin Towers have better vibe.
The foods r nice. Customer service ??? worth it. Love my pu er milk tea
