We participated in an authentic cooking class at Dicarik Warung in Ubud and cooked many Balinese dishes in the middle of rice fields. The people there were very friendly and shared several tips and tricks with us. We had a lot of fun and the food was very delicious. Highly recommended!
It was a fantastic cooking class. We learned how to cook and enjoy the food at the restaurant surrounded by the rice fields. There’s a class at 10 am and one at 2 pm. They said you have to book the class at least one day before but my classmates said they just passed by the restaurant and then signed up.??? Anyway, it was a relaxing and fun class. I think I can make some of them back home. The authentic sate is not that difficult to make as I thought. Thanks Dicarik Warung for providing a nice a cozy place to enjoy the class.
Really enjoyed our cooking class! It was really cool to learn how to cook some traditional Balinese food and I will definitely be using the recipes at home!!
Had my cooking class there, and it was a great, personal experience from a mother-daughter tag team. The food was delicious, ingredients fresh and experience was warm and inviting. I've also tried the more 'commercial' cooking classes but they didn't feel as hands-on since so much was pre-done in the background but here we were involved in each step. The food afterwards was also delicious. Highly recommend if you're learning or dining (or both!)
Really good juices and the spring rolls were perfect? It’s really quiet and peaceful + you can learn some balinese words !
