My partner and I have been coming here for a few years and I realised I hadn't written a review about it yet! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The service is flawless. The ambience is warm and cosy. The prices are very good. Now the best part - the food. Omg. I've been to quite a few very nice Indian restaurants around the Gold Coast as well as my hometown of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore, London and the USA, and quite honestly, none of them compare to the food served here. It is ALWAYS absolutely delicious! I've read a few reviews saying all the curries taste the same, with the same gravy...uh, no. I can't speak for the meat dishes, but I've had over half of the (extensive) vegetarian dishes and they are all different. Even if certain curries look similar in colour, their flavours are unique and again, SO GOOD! Tonight we enjoyed our two favourite curries, Palak Paneer and Navrattan Korma. Complete bliss for the taste buds! The rice is always fluffy and the naan is never oily. If you want truly delicious Indian food in a nice environment with lovely staff and service, definitely come here! The food is the best I have eaten.

This has by far been the tastiest and most authentic Indian food I’ve eaten outside India (even in terms of the spiciness) . And, I’m saying this with confidence after having traveled across more than 12 countries. 100% value for money. A must recommendation to anyone missing home and for those looking to try authentic Indian food.

Amazing Indian Food & Great Atmosphere! Had a fantastic dining experience at Delhi Darbar, Surfers Paradise. The food was absolutely delicious—flavourful, perfectly spiced, and great portion sizes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with lovely décor and relaxing music. The owner and staff were super friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic Indian food in a great setting!

We are on holiday from NZ and staying at the Wyndham hotel. Decided to have a takeout and movie night in and we are SO happy we chose Delhi Darbar! The food was absolutely incredible! Butter chicken was hands down the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the chicken madras which was amazing. The naan bread was also spot on and it was ready so quickly. Thank you so much ☺️

Dehli Darbar is a bit of a hidden gem tucked away in the bustling heart of Surfers Paradise. We enjoyed a hearty Indian feast, starting with a mixed entrée that set the tone nicely. The standout was the chicken tikka – juicy, perfectly spiced, and full of smoky flavour. The butter chicken was rich and comforting, while the goat curry brought bold, authentic flavours to the table. Overall, it’s a delicious escape from the tourist chaos outside – well worth seeking out if you're craving quality Indian food on the Gold Coast.
