For veggie lover and steamboat lover, it is recommended choice. The sauces are variety, but with some charges according to headcount. I got free during soft launch

Dar Soo at Pavillion KL Food : Creative menu Ambience: comfortable , peaceful , classy Service : There was a specky staff & a man in black suit who had given a tiptop service during my first two visits, kudos ! ( I was thinking to give 2 or 3 stars for the following incident but because of the superb hospitality given by them, I rated 4 stars ) However during my third time visit, the specky staff in light green attire was still giving her amazing service, but a younger female staff in light green attire too & a female manager ( in black coat ) were so so, it was 9.30pm, they had given me an impression of "too eager to leave " ( closing time 10pm , last call 9pm ) the female manager even mentioned right away, " 我們要關門了哦“ when I asked to refill my glass with some water at 9.30pm & the bill was already paid by that time. When I mentioned " the service charge was so high" to the young female staff implying it didn't match the service she gave, she replied in a way as if going to close her personal service counter , "all are the same in the mall". I supposed they wanted to leave early, I saw one of them with striped blouse walking out leaving at 9.45pm when I was waiting for lift. Perhaps I have too high an expectation of your restaurant due to everything too high a class except ... Reminded me of a saying, just because of a black sheep, everything is spoiled, what a waste really . If one can't stay late, pls go work somewhere where you can curi tulang kaw kaw. Don't take service charge from customers for granted.

I celebrated a birthday with friends at Dar Soo, a favorite vegetarian restaurant of mine. The cuisine was innovative and delicious.

Background Tucked away in Kuala Lumpur’s bustling dining scene, Dar Soo has quietly established itself as a go-to for vegetarian hotpot—a rarity in a city often obsessed with meat-heavy meals. Ambience There are no frills, no fuss—just a simple, clean space that focuses squarely on the food. Functional, yes, but also refreshingly unpretentious. Service Attentive without being overbearing—a rarity in casual hotpot spots. Staff are quick to refill broths, offer recommendations, and keep the dining experience smooth. Food & Drink The broths—particularly the tom yam and tomato—are vibrant, aromatic, and deeply satisfying, proving that vegetarian doesn’t mean bland. Ingredients are fresh, portions generous, and the inclusion of dessert (often an afterthought elsewhere) rounds off the meal nicely. The sauce selection is a bonus, offering plenty of room for personalisation without worrying like the other hotpot joints, which may have meat. Overall This might be KL’s best-kept vegetarian secret for a satisfying, guilt-free steamboat fix.
