One of my favorite Italian joint in Shanghai. Bistro style with good food. Visiting again after two years, appetizers, salad, pasta with some white wine, all good as I remember. It's not fancy place, but I like the food!
Agreed with a previous post - recommend the pepperoni pizza. I also happen to love Vecchia Romagna Brandy, aka Italian Cognac. Hard to find. They have it here. I ordered two & the house gave me another glass as a complimentary thank-you. Wise waiter, as he has created a new "regular" to their restaurant.
Looking for a Western, and in particular Italian, restaurant, we found this gem. The photos and reviews didn’t do it justice. A bit nervous arriving in a taxi as to whether we would ask him to turn round and take us back to our hotel, we got out and the place looked so much nicer than we thought. A delicious bread basket was delivered to the table along with water. They had both Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio by the glass (a rarity). The food was delicious and then we were presented with a glass of limoncello each. The ambiance was great and the price definitely affordable by Shanghai standards. Will definitely come again next time we visit Shanghai.
A good italian authentic in shanghai. The price is on the up side, noodle at 88 yuan, but my kids missed some home italian food and they were good. I was also surprise with the cesar salad which was big and good. Pizza also can be shared with someone.
Excellent little place that I’ve read has been around for 26+ years. Solo dinner with a mozzarella-tomato pizza and a highly-rated glass of red. All the wines by the glass rate 4+ stars on Vivino if you care about that sort of thing. Good service with English-speaking staff and a nice vibe overall for this tourist who just needed a wine dinner.
