Friendly service, though platter took surprisingly long to be served. Platter is loaded with a variety of delightful cheeses and pates, though some have apparent freezer burn texture. The garlic bread was a tasty surprise with its well-seasoned/soaked pretzel bun that melts to the bite.
What a fantastic restaurant. Kristie and I went there for our 20th wedding anniversary whilst on holidays. We will be recommending you to all our friends who go to Vietnam. Good price, great service, wonderful food.
Small restaurant in the heart of the tourist area of Saigon. We tried three dishes and liked all of them, my favorite was the beef bourgignon, very tender meat and tasty sauce. Overall the prices are very affordable, we paid around 600k for 3 dishes. The place is quite small so it’s probably best to book through their website
On one fated day in 1858, the French brought their troops into Vietnam. Along with that came french cuisine. Boasting a wide selection of dishes, Cocotte is a French bistro tucked away in an alley in Ben Thanh. The beef stew was absolutely goated, aura-farming everything else on the table. The meat was tender and flavourful, almost as if you were biting into the thighs of the goddess Aphrodite herself. I also enjoyed the complimentary pate-bisuit-pickle thing, but was shy to ask for more. Everything else was kinda meh. The desserts looked really good but we didn't get a chance to try ?. No coriander ???
An amazing place, I really recommend every meal or dish. It's just a bomb of flavor. There's crazy precision in the dishes. Very good quality in the ingredients. And most importantly, try the desserts. ??
