Spending few days in Hanoi, I felt slighty disappointed with the food I tried, until Chayfood. It’s fully vegan, fully tasty, and I would definitely recommend and go back. We had pho spring rolls to share that were made with homemade steamed paper rather than the pre-made rice paper. Very tasty! The peanut sauce was delicious, but the amount of it felt a bit too small for the 4 rolls. Pho was nice, I spend over a month in Vietnam and it was one of the better ones I tried. The rice that my partner got was very good too, lots of flavor, maybe the portion was a bit too small. Overall, really liked the place, and I recommend to check it out if you’re looking for really tasty vegan food. Update: we did go back on our last day! Had the same order (pho & pho rolls) since I enjoyed it so much, plus the pumpkin cashew milk, which was so tasty, and naturally sweet (no sugar added).

Just eaten here. Directed to balcony seat by nice waiter. Surprised my 'brown rice noodle' dish was cold meal - but the favours and freshness were amazing. The pumpkin cashew milk nut drink was light, refreshing and subtle. Would definitely recommend this cafe to others. To add to the experience, they are giving everyone 20% off for Buddha's birthday!

? Absolutely loved Chayfood! Everything is vegan and bursting with flavor. I had the pho — it was comforting, fragrant, and so satisfying. The hibiscus rose lychee drink was refreshing and beautifully balanced. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal. The location is super convenient — right in the center of Hanoi, making it an easy stop during a day of exploring the city.

Absolutely my favourite restaurant in Hanoi! The staff are always so friendly, and the food is simply superb. I thoroughly enjoy every visit. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Amazing food, good location (especially 2nd floor on the balcony), lovely staff, and cheap. Highly recommend the Mushroom Pho, it’s ssssoooo good! Was so nice I had it twice!
