I recently visited Charcoal Smoke House in Kurunegala and had a great dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with the freshly grilled items standing out for their flavor and quality. The mixed platter was a highlight—generous portions and cooked to perfection. The staff were very supportive and attentive, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was noticeable, adding to the overall pleasant vibe. The only downside was the mojito, which didn’t quite meet expectations, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended!

Great place to get some meat and an overall good meal. Lime Juice was absolutely delicious. Meat was tasty, bread was tasty too, veggies well seasoned. Overall 5 stars well deserved.

Good food and also surprisingly good veggie curry as well, my girlfriend is vegan so we though it would Be harder to find something here but the owner/staff came through and also made amazing curry! Recommend (also have larger meals to shear with 3x+ ppl)

Had dinner last night here, we ordered a mixed smoked meat platter. It was super delicious. One of the best grilled meals I had. Highly recommend the food and the cozy ambience. Will definitely visit again

Absolutely love this place! Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had the flavor and taste are truly top-notch. I’ve dined at many restaurants in Colombo, but this spot really touched my heart. Every time I visit Kurunegala, I make it a point to stop by. I’ve tried almost everything on their menu — steak, kottu, pasta and everything is consistently flavorful and well-prepared. I’ve been here over 10 times in the past year, and their quality and consistency never fail. Keep up the great work.
