Very nice holiday motel with flexible check-in time. We arrived after midnight and the staff had left the key in a lockbox with a code — everything went smoothly. The room was new and very quiet. We had a great stay. Just one thing to note — the bedroom didn’t have its own heater. There was an electric blanket, which helped, but it would be even better if a heater was provided.

The 2 bedroom family room was a good size for our family of 5 and had everything we needed however the place was very damp including all our bedding, despite opening our windows every day the condensation was awful.

Didn't hear much of the road noise unless the windows were open but there was a herd of elephants staying in the unit upstairs often waking us around 5am with their thumping.

Not that easy to find as a visitor, but worth the effort. Very large lounge with air conditioning, microwave/tea and coffee making facilities.
Small bathroom with shower and vanity but adequate ( size didn't match the spaciousness in the unit) There is no elevator to access upper level rooms, I left my suitcase in the vehicle and just carried the minimum up the outside stairs to the top level. This could be a problem in wet weather.
There is a king sized bed and TV in the bedroom.
Wifi access ok

Very friendly and polite staff. Rooms were reasonably priced and not bad. Shower head was stuck on the wall and the entire bathroom was too small (the design wasn’t ideal as of you went in the seperate toilet, you literally couldn’t close the door).

I stayed here recently on a Saturday. I was placed on an upper floor with windows onto Riccarton Road. The check in process was smooth and the fellow behind the desk pleasant. The room was large and well appointed. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was decent. The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean and smooth. Unfortunately the room backed onto a busy road and a sports bar was directly opposite. It was very noisy, the room had little noticeable soundproofing and I was kept up until well past 3am with noise from the street outside including multiple sirens and people shouting. Would not stay again for those reasons although could be fine for a midweek stay.
