We have been to a few vegan restaurants here so far, this is the first one we found truly tasty! Food tastes great, service is great, and it’s located across the street from the nice old town in a quiet corner. The food does not have that weird vegan taste that some restaurants have, it’s really great, We didn’t take a picture of the ramen but that was really good too.

It was great surprise to find such a high quality vegan restaurant in Kyoto. Hands on, the best Japanese curry bursting with flavour and cheerful colours. The Matcha Latte comes with a special gluten free biscuit which perfectly compliments the whole meal. Couldn't recommend it more!

Had an amazing lunch at Cafe Vegan Terrace. I came with my family in my way to the Yakasa Shrine. Really enjoyed the Vegetable curry and the Teriyaki Burger. Some of the best food we’ve had in Tokyo. Only recommendation would be to change the Burger meal to have french fries. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and the air con was a godsend. A perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of Kyoto.

We had a fantastic lunch here, I would highly recommend adding it to your Kyoto must eat if you are looking for high quality and flavorful vegan food. We had the ramen and the teriyaki burger and both were delicious. If you get a chance to try the matcha pudding, it’s definitely an elegant and tasty way to end your meal. Absolutely loved this place!

We stayed at Gion Elite Terrace and this vegan cafe is part of the dining area within the hotel from 11:30am to 4pm last order 3:30pm. It’s open for everyone not just guests. We checked-out and had a great vegan brunch without leaving the hotel! The curry and vegan egg sandwich was so good. The menu is gluten-free besides the sandwich and burger which has a gluten-free option and all items do not contain garlic, leek, onion, chives or shallots. Highly recommend for guests or anyone in the area!
