We ate here for a late lunch on a Sunday. We walked in and were instructed to climb to the second floor. Our server was patient and guided us to wipe all the dishes and utensils we were using. We pondered whether this was proof of their own confidence in their cleaning abilities or because the dishes may have been waiting under the basket on the lazy Susan. The dishes turned out really well. Wonderful flavors, right size and really fresh. The diners there were all foreigners so we were worried unnecessarily. Thank you for a wonderful welcome lunch to Hanoi in the old quarter.

Me and my husband saw this place on Google. As we wanted to have something vegan or vegetarian in Vietnamese cuisine... To my surprise the food was amazing, taste was to the market and the staff "Ngoc Khanh" was so polite and helpful. We had really good food... They have many variety in Non veg food too... MUST VISIT FOR AUTHENTIC Vietnamese FOOD

Nice little place with reasonable price, good and attentive service from the staff, food came fast and was tasty. Portion was also big, but make sure to ask if the dish come with rice since we were given quite a lot of rice to eat with the dishes. A big plus point is the staff speaks english as well so ordering was easy

We had a great Vietnamese meal at Cai Mam Bistro in the Old Quarter. The ambience set in this small restaurant reminisces about the old Vietnam, with Vietnamese songs playing in the background, the decor and the setup. But the most important factor for any restaurant is the food, and this one really hits it out of the park! Great food. Great Quantity. Great Prices. Do recommend this to any traveller who wants to try authentic Vietnamese Cuisine!

Superb food! Nice ambiance! Looks can be deceiving. Passing by this resto seems that it has no costumers since from outside you can see only two tables for four persons each. We were led to the 2nd floor, there greeted us with a fully booked resto with more tables on the 3rd floor! Proof that this resto is really good, and I attest to that. Plus, the servers are friendly and served as well. This should be included in one of the resto recos in the old quarter. Thumbs up!
