Power nasi lemak, always have a queue. The rice is fragrant by taste and smell. Personally for me, a good nasi lemak comes from the temperature of the rice and it's sambal chilli, which this nasi lemak has it all. The rice is served above warm temperature which mostly at other shops the rice is usually just lukewarm or sometimes even slightly below room temperature. The sambal here is also special, kind of hard to describe with words, however it's both a little spicy and on a saltier end? Can taste it's being handmade as it's not the usual sambal you can get easily elsewhere The portion is also pretty decent towards it's price, I had the lungs nasi lemak which got me pretty full after eating just a plate. However this hawker is pretty stuffy and hot even at night time, ventilation inside the hawker isn't good, tend to have a smoke smell on you, sitting at the outside seats will be a better option if you don't want to smell like "BBQ smoke"

Closes at 3.30am so it's a good supper spot. Sambal chilli is really good. Fried chicken skin is crispy but meat is not marinated so lacks different layers of flavour. The rest of the items are okish. The price is reasonable and the service is fast.

Today afternoon 8 may I went all the way down from my house to try out the boon lay nasi lemak take away the owner are friendly I bought set come with egg fillet fish $4 is very nice ? good recommend to people I hope to come again this stall one day support them

A good experience to try Singapore’s nasi lemak….the guy idk he is the owner or what, but he is really baik and sangat friendly…about the taste agak ok lah and affordable..
