Came across this store while exploring the Joo Chiat area and got intrigued by their bons! They did not disappoint! Definitely made with such artisan techniques and quality that I have never tasted before. Will definitely come back again to try the other flavors!

I didn’t expect to love the food here but I did. Tried the beef rendang focaccia - wow, I didn’t like rendang but this was really good. And I tried the garlic bun - I think the garlic cream was just way too much in contrast with how much bread was given so this one was a so-so. The dessert was fantastic, I didn’t expect to enjoy it so much - I had the raspberry lychee and wow the flavours came through, the cream was super smooth and it wasn’t sweet at all; everything was well balanced and fresh. Staff were really nice; you can heat up the savoury items (which we did and it definitely helped). They sell drinks as well. In terms of seating, there is very limited seating inside, but there are two benches outside.

The truffle mushroom bun is so so good! It’s flavourful and moreish and the same time, and it is not that salty as well. Will come back in the future!

I passed by Boms & Buns in Joo Chiat and decided to pick up a few items…and I’m glad I did. Garlic Cream Cheese Bun was savoury, packed with garlic butter, a lush cream cheese centre, and accents of parmesan and chilli. Sticky Pecan Bun got this caramelised pecan topping and a perfectly baked base…sweet and nutty. Chocolate Financier was rich, a nice small treat. Also picked up their weekend special:)
