PMQ - Staunton, SG 09 -SG 14 G/F, Block A, 35 Aberdeen St, Hong Kong
It on the ground floor of PMQ, very easy to find. Delicious food, but generally small portions. The shrimp curry was delicious but only came with 2 prawns. The prawn/pomelo salad was fresh had 3 pieces of shrimp. I was seated on the back side so very few servers came by to check on us during the meal. The restaurant well decorated and comfortable.I would recommend the shrimp cake and prawn curry.
The BKK dining experience masterfully blends innovation and tradition. The star was the ordered brisket salad—a fusion triumph where smoky brisket melded with fresh herbs and a zesty lime dressing. The prawn pad thai offered a richer, sweeter take on the classic, while the vegetable green pad thai presented a creamy, mellow interpretation. Both provided enjoyable, if less traditional, variations. Dessert was flawless: the mango sticky rice paired fragrant, ripe mango with luxuriously creamy coconut rice. BKK excels in creative dishes but also delivers satisfying, modern renditions of Thai staples.
The Chargrilled Wagyu skewer was incredibly tender and rich, a perfect start. The Pad Thai was a classic done right, bursting with flavor, and the Fried Red Snapper was a stunning, crispy highlight. It all ended beautifully with the sweet, creamy Mango Sticky Rice and a refreshing Coconut Smoothie
Rice noodle salad with grilled beef and sweet/ sour dressing was my fave. Lemongrass cooler was perfect for the hot weather; Thai mango rice was served extremely hot and fresh. For the mains we picked a very delicious stir fried flat noodles, and curry chicken rice.
We've been here couple of times for dinner. And even if it is a little pricey, the food was always delicious and well served. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is a little bit like old Bangkok, we love it to come here.
