Amazing Gem for Italian Delights! Barat is a true gem for plant-based food lovers. The dishes are creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Desserts are not to be missed! Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make it even better. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful Christmas dinner we all had. Tasty treasures, a fantastic menu and the Xmas iced mulled wine was a stunner too! Big thank you to Anna for arranging this special, vegan pre-Xmas highlight!

A must try for vegans. We tried the mac and cheese, Bharat signature platter, Tofu Picatto, truffle fries and the blue berry cheese cake and the latte. Quality of food is top notch. A bit on the pricier side but completely worth it. Can’t recommend enough.

The place became fully vegan in September 2024, which is wonderful. They use vegan cheese for their dishes. The food has exceeded my expectations - I enjoyed my spaghetti with meatballs. It was probably one of the top Western dishes I had not only in KL, but in Malaysia more generally. We also tried vegan pizza ? and a lovely lemon pudding. The service was friendly and fast, and the ambience is nice too. It's a great area, and you have their sister restaurant, Ganga, which is excellent, next door. In fact, you can order Ganga dishes whilst dining in Barat. It's not super cheap, but it is to be expected for Western food restaurant in a prime location in Bangsar. The price is fair given the quality and the portion sizes. All in all, a great addition to the vegan scene in KL! Well done!
